About AI Directory Network
We publish industry directories of AI tools. Each one lists every AI tool sold to a trade or profession, checked by hand, with the price the vendor posts and the date of the last check.
Why the directories exist
Every trade and profession is being sold AI, and the people buying it, the ones who sign the check, have no neutral place to see the whole market with prices. Vendor sites sell. Review sites rank whoever pays. A directory that lists everything, says what each tool costs and shows when a person last looked is the missing piece, and that is what each site in the network is for one industry.
The rules every directory follows
- A tool is listed only if its site is live, it clearly serves the directory's buyer, and it has a nameable AI feature.
- A person reads the tool's site and pricing page before it is listed, and every listing shows the date of the last check.
- Posted prices are shown. If a vendor doesn't post a price, the listing says "quote-based" instead of guessing.
- Listings are free, so each directory is complete rather than pay-to-play.
- Every listing reads positively: the facts stay, the verdicts go. Readers decide.
- Paid placement is one marked featured spot per category. Affiliate links are marked where they appear. Neither changes a write-up.
- Listings are re-checked on a schedule, and corrections from vendors and readers are read by a person.
One company, one set of rules, one toolset
Every directory is built with the same generator, the same spreadsheet layout and the same rules. That is what lets a small company keep each site accurate: the work goes into the research, not into rebuilding the machine each time.
Who runs it
AI Directory Network was started in 2026 by Steve Potter and is based in Connecticut. Steve keeps the lists, checks the vendors and answers the mail.
